Knitting instructions:

Pullover size: 44

Materials:

500 g of yarn (100% merino wool) in light gray color.

Crochet hook size 4.

Round motif: according to the diagram.

Crochet density: 10 cm = 18 sts.

Work description:

Back: Crochet the motif according to the diagram, forming wedges and increasing each wedge by 1 st in every row. After completing the 17th row, finish crocheting. To form the lower edge, continue crocheting the 6 lower wedges, alternating 1 row of double crochet (dc) and 1 row of single crochet (sc) in forward and reverse direction, increasing each wedge by 1 st in every row and separating the wedges by 1 chain st (ch). To give a straight line to the sides, crochet with short rows as follows: at the beginning of each dc row, crochet 3 sc, 4 half-double crochet (hdc) and at the end of the row crochet in reverse order. At the beginning of each sc row, crochet 4 slip stitches (sl st), and at the end of the row leave the last 4 sts unworked. In this way, crochet 12 rows and finish.

Front: Crochet as the back.

Sleeves: Crochet from top to bottom. Chain 29 ch, crochet, alternating 1 row of dc and 1 row of sc, increasing on both sides in each dc row 6 times by 1 st and 5 times by 2 sts = 61 sts. At the height of 19 cm, decrease on both sides in each dc row 8 times by 1 st = 45 sts, and finish crocheting.

Assembly: Pin the pieces to the pattern, moisten and allow them to dry. Sew the seams and set in the sleeves into the armholes, occupying 2 wedges of the round motif, leaving the central 2 wedges for the neckline. Edge the neckline in the round, alternating 1 row of dc and 1 row of sc and decreasing in each dc row by 1 st every 8 sts. In this way, crochet 6 rows, then crochet 1 more row of sc and finish.
