Bernat Pipsqueak white, approx. 5 yards
King Cole Tinsel Chunky, enough to make pom pom (unless using a store bought pom)

sl st slip stitch
blo back loops only

Rnd 1: in a magic loop, using red, ch 1 and make 10 DC into loop. Sl st to join (10)
Rnd 2: 2 DC into each st around. sl st to join (20)
Rnd 3: *DC in next st. 2 DC in next st. repeat from * around. sl st to join (30)
Rnd 4: *DC in next 2 sts. 2 DC in next st. repeat from * around. sl st to join (40)
check to make sure that the circle is approximately the same size as the top of the toilet paper roll. If you are using a different size toilet paper roll add more rounds in the above adding format or remove rounds as required.
Rnd 5: DC in blo only of each st around (40)
Rnd 6: DC (in both loops) in each st around (40)
Repeat round 6 for five more rounds, or until the cover, when on the roll, is approximately the same height as the roll. Bind off.
Attach Bernat Pipsqueak and sc in each st around (40)
Bind off. Weave in ends.
Make PomPom using pompom maker or favourite method of creating a pom (or just buy a store bought pom, some days it's just easier . . . kinda like toilet paper :)
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are making your pompom using the Tinsel yarn, I would suggest making it in a location where you wont have to pick up the little, clingy, annoying fibers that will be left over. You know, like maybe on the moon or something. After sober-second-thought I perhaps should have selected a different yarn for the pompom, but it looked so pretty finished that I had to use it. *Best of luck if you too make the effort!*
