Materials:-
- Worsted-weight yarn, any colour
- F/3 crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Button or decoration accessories
Abbreviation Key:-
- sc = single crochet
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- dec = decrease (join next 2 sts into 1)
- inc = increase (2 sc in next st)
Notes:-
- Gauge is not important – just keep maintaining consistent tension throughout the entire project.
- Crochet in a spiral. Use something to mark the first stitch of a round, and move it up as you work.
- “The Magic Circle” is use to start each piece. Alternative technique: ch 2, then sc x6 into the second chain away from the hook. Slip stitch to join the round. This creates Round 1.
Mini Bag:-
Use any colour yarn.
Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 8 stitches
Round 2: inc x8 = 16 sts
Round 3: (1 inc, sc in next st) x8 = 24 sts
Round 4-9: sc in next 24 stitchs = 24 sts
Round 10: 3 sc, 8 ch & skip 6 sc, 6 sc, 8ch & skip 6 sc, 3 sc = 28 sts
Round 11: 3 sc, 10 sc on 8 ch, 6 sc, 10 sc on 8 ch, 3 sc = 32 sts
Round 12: Fasten off & hide the tail
