DIY Pipe Cleaner Snowflake

Creating pipe cleaner snowflakes is a delightful and easy craft activity that can bring a touch of winter wonderland into your home. To make them, all you need are some colorful pipe cleaners and a pair of scissors. Start by twisting and bending the pipe cleaners into various snowflake shapes, letting your creativity guide you. Once you're happy with the design, trim any excess length with the scissors and voilà! You have a charming snowflake ready to hang on your Christmas tree or decorate your walls. It's a fun and festive way to add a personalized touch to your holiday décor, perfect for spending a cozy afternoon crafting with friends or family. So go ahead, grab some pipe cleaners, unleash your imagination, and let the snowy magic unfold!

The supplies I will be using are: 1. Chenille pipe cleaners ( I got these from Home Depot) 2. Spray adhesive 3. Scissors 4. Glitter

These are so easy to make. I am using 8 pipe cleaners for one snowflake.

You will take 3 of the pipe cleaners and cross them at the center. I crossed one over the other and gave them a twist to hold them all together.

The next step is to cut 3 more of the pipe cleaners in half.

This will give you 6 pieces all the same length.

I then added these 6 pieces to the snowflake .

I came up about midway from the center of the snowflake and twisted the ends onto the longer stems of the snowflake.

I continued around the whole snowflake until all 6 pieces were added.

Now it is time to cut the last two pipe cleaners into thirds.

I added these last 6 pieces to the end pieces of the snowflake.

Once my snowflake was all formed I then sprayed the spray adhesive.

I sprinkled the glitter on top of the snowflake.

I love this glitter it reminds me of a sugar glitter. I get it from Hobby Lobby.

These are so easy to make and can placed on your tree or hung on your fire place mantle.
