Supplies:

  • Yarn - white and preferred hair colour
  • Jumbo craft sticks
  • Googly eyes
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors
  • Black sharpie

Directions:

STEP 1: Gather your supplies

Before you get started, make sure to gather up all your supplies! This just makes it easier when dealing with crafts.

STEP 2: Make the Angel wings

To get started, glue two craft sticks together in an "X" shape as you see below. Then, wrap the sticks with white yarn.

Take your yarn and go down and around one stick and then back up - repeating until the sticks are mostly covered. Younger children may need a bit of guidance.

STEP 3: Make the Angel body

Next, wrap another stick in white yarn - leaving a portion of the top uncovered. Draw a face with black sharpie and add some hair with a different coloured yarn.

STEP 4: Finalize the Angel ornaments

To finish off the Angel ornaments, glue the body and wings together using a generous amount of glue - applying pressure until it fully dries and cools. Repeat for as many Angel ornaments as you wish to make.

Glue a loop of yarn to the back of your angel ornament and it is ready for hanging on the Christmas tree.
