Supplies:
(Fuggetabout that red checked cloth and the little tart pan, y’all! I used a music sheet and a wood block instead!)
Dollar Tree: Surface, round wood ornament, Tumbling Tower Game block, 8X8 sign (surface)
Amazon: Rub ‘N Buff Antique Gold, Deco Art chalkboard paint, Mod Podge Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Stash: Music sheet, greenery, Christmas picks
Let’s make it!
I painted the outside of the sign with Deco Art chalkboard paint, then added the red and white checked background, but later decided to use a music sheet.
(image 2) I painted on Mod Podge to adhere the music sheet to the surface.
For the ornament, I hot glued buttons on to the wood round, then painted Rub n Buff on it. Wow!! What a difference!
TIP: Glue on the largest buttons first, then add smaller, more decorative ones.
TIP: You can apply Rub ‘N Buff with a paint brush.
I hot glued some Christmas greenery from picks, painted a Tumbling Tower Game block for the top (it’s like a mini Jenga block) and here is our finished craft!
(I really wanted to add a ribbon to the top, but didn’t have what I wanted to use. I’ve added ribbon to my Hobby Lobby shopping list!)
