Materials:

  • Med-Large Pinecones. I got mine from Michaels
  • Epsom Salt
  • White Glitter
  • Super Scotch Spray Adhesive
  • Hot Glue/ Glue Gun
  • Twine
  • A Piece of fabric

I started with spraying the bottom part of the pine cone (pointy end down) with spray adhesive. Then, I held it over a container and started sprinkling the epsom salt on the pinecone. I added glitter to give it a little shimmer.

You can also use the spray adhesive as a sealer for the glitter and epsom salt by just spraying it over and letting it dry. This will help to keep it from falling off.

Next, I took my fabric and created a little gnome hat. You can make your hat floppy or pointy.. It’s totally up to you. I did both.

I secured the hat on the top of the pinecone with hot glue.

We all know the NOSE makes the GNOME come to life!!! I used a big wooden bead for the nose. The bigger the nose the better in my opinion. I attached it right under the hat with hot glue.

I then tied off the tip of the hat with some twine, and added a little piece of a dollar tree mop around the bottom of the hat for a cute little detail. On the floppy hat gnome, I added a piece of red fabric.

I created a hanger for the back by gluing a piece of twine, and then added a cute little snow flake to them!
