Materials

  • 4x6 stretched canvas (Dollar Tree)

  • Decoart Americana acrylic craft paint (color: blush pink)
  • ribbon
  • hot glue

Tools

  • pen blade
  • scissors
  • 1" flat paint brush

Instructions

  1. Remove the canvas. Use a pen blade to safely remove the stretched canvas from the frame. Also remove any excess left around the staples.

  1. Cut canvas down to size. Use the frame to trace a pattern to cut and trim the canvas down to size. Be sure to cut just inside the marker line.
  2. Paint the frame. Paint the front side of the frame (not the stapled side) blush pink (or a color of your choice).

Assemble the canvas. Attach the canvas to the back of the frame using a generous amount of hot glue.

Create the bow. I used chiffon ribbon to create a bow using the bunny ear method (watch the video to see how I did this).

Attach the bow. Use a tiny dab of hot glue to attach the bow to the frame.
