STITCH EXPLANATION

MB (make bobble) – *yarn over, insert hook into st and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook, rep from * 3 more times (5 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

SH (shell) – make 5 double crochets in the same stitch

NOTES

Blanket base is worked flat in back and forth rows – turn at the end of each row. Edging is worked around the perimeter after base is complete, first in joined, turned rounds and then in joined, un-turned rounds. The ch 2 at the beginning of each dc row of the base counts as a stitch – therefore, skip the first stitch of the row and work the final dc in the top of the turning ch of the row below to maintain an even stitch count. Chart is provided for edging.
