Kids Slippers Crochet Pattern

Materials:

Yarn: Loops & Threads Soft Classics in Blue, Mushroom
Crochet hook: Size US 8 crochet hook

Gauge: 14 sc and 15 rows = 4 inches

Sizes: ages 2, 4, 6

Finished foot length- 6, 7, 8 inches

Pattern instructions:

With the blue yarn chain 13 (16, 19)

Round 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to last ch. 3 sc in last ch. Working into rem loops across opposite side of foundation ch, 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. Join. 26 (32, 38) sts.

Round 2: Ch 1. *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 10 (13, 16) sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join. 30 (36, 42).

Round 3: Ch 1. *1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 10 (13, 16) sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around. Join. 34 (40, 46) sc.

Round 4: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 10 (13, 16) sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. Join. 38 (44, 50) sc.

Round 5:c Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 3 sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 10 (13, 16) sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Rep from * around. Join. 42 (48, 54) sc.

Sizes 4 and 6 only:
Round 6: Ch1.*1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 13 (16) sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 5 sc. Rep from * around. Join. 52 (58) sc.

Upper Part of the Slipper:
Round 1: Ch 1. Working in back loops only, 1 sc in each sc around. Join.
Round 2: Ch 1. Working in both loops, 1 sc in each sc around. Join. Rep last rnd 1 (2, 2) times more.
Next Round: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 14 (18, 20) sc. 14 (18, 20) sc. [(Yoh and draw up a loop in next st. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) 4 times. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – Dc4tog made. 1 sc in each of next 1 (2, 3) sc] twice. Dc4tog. 1 sc in each of next 14 (18, 20) sc. Join. 33 (43, 49) sc.

Sizes 4 and 6 ONLY:

All sizes: Break the blue yarn.

For the Cuff:
With the beige yarn, ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in each st around. Join. Rep last rnd 3 (4, 5) times more. Fasten off.
