Chain 76

You can make a larger or smaller blanket by using an odd number +3 for the chain.

Row 1: hbdc in the 3 chain from hook. Chain 1, skip 1 stitch. hbdc, chain 1,skip 1 stitch. Repeat to the end. End with a hbdc. Chain 4, turn. (chain 4 is the first hbdc and the first chain.

Row 2: Skip one stitch, hbdc. *Chain 1, skip 1 stitch, hbdc* Repeat * to end. End with a hbdc. Chain 4, turn. (chain 4 is the first hbdc and the first chain.
Repeat Row 2 until you have 40 rows.

Border – coral bells, then white

Pull up a loop at any corner in coral bells. sc around evenly. Do 4 sc in each corner, 2 on each side of the corner.

I did 2 single crochet for each double herringbone crochet stitch when doing the sides and 1 for the top of each row. If it is rippling try just 2 stitches.

2nd row change to white and do 4 more rows of single crochet. Knot and weave in ends using a tapestry needle. Cut off excess yarn. Enjoy
