Materials Used:
- DK / Worsted yarn, size 3 / 4 - light / medium. I used Drops Cotton Light 50% Cotton, 50% Polyester yarn in the colorways 21 (light beige) and 05 (light pink). 50 grams (105 metres approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
- 4mm ( US size G-6) crochet hook.
- Scissors.
- Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.
Abbreviations (US terms):
st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
3hdc puff (hdc3tog) - 3 half double crochet closed together - (Yarn over, insert your hook into indicated stitch, yarn over, pull the yarn through the stitch)* repeat 3 times. Now you should have 7 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull the yarn through all 7 loops. ch3(4)picot - ch3 or ch4, insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch made), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

Start with the beige yarn.
Ch4, sl st. into first ch to form a ring.
Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 2dc into ring, ch2,
(3dc into ring, ch2)* repeat 3 times.
Join with a sl st. on top of ch3 at the beginning of the round.
Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 2 dc sts, 2dc into next corner ch2 space, ch2, 2dc into that same corner ch2 space,
(1dc into next 3 dc sts, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into next corner ch2 space)* repeat 3 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of ch3 at the beginning of the round. Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off.
Join the pink yarn to first dc st. after corner ch2 of Round 2.
Round 3: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 6 dc sts, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into next corner ch2 space,
(1dc into next 7 dc sts, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into next corner ch2 space)* repeat 3 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of ch3 at the beginning of the round.
Round 4: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 8 dc sts, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into next corner ch2 space,
(1dc into next 11 dc sts, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into next corner ch2 space)* repeat 3 times around.
1dc into next 2 dc sts, sl st. on top of ch3 at the beginning of the round. Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off.
Join the beige yarn to first dc st. after corner ch2 of Round 4.
