Materials:

Worsted weight acrylic “soft” yarn

Crochet hook size F

Gauge: Rounds 1-3 = a little over 3 1/4”

Finished size: 7”

Stitches used:

Picot: Ch 4, sl st in the 4th ch from hook

Bauble: Work 5 dc in the next picot, turn, skip 4 dc, sc in the next dc, turn,

sc in the next ch 1 sp

Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring

Round 1: Ch 7 (to count as the first dc and the ch 4 of the first picot), sl st

in the 4th ch from hook, ch 1, (dc in ring, picot, ch 1) 7 times, join with a sl

st to the 3rd ch of the beginning ch 3. (8 picots)

Round 2: Sl st into the first picot, ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 4 more

dc in the same picot, turn, sc in the top of the beginning ch 3, turn, sc in

the next ch 1 sp; work a bauble in each remaining picot around; do not

join. (8 baubles)

Round 3: Ch 6 to count as the first trc and the first ch 2, sc in the center dc

of the next bauble, (ch 2, trc in the next sc (between baubles), ch 2, sc in

the center dc of the next bauble) 7 times, ch 2, join with a sl st to the third

ch of the beginning ch 6.

Round 4: Sl st in the next ch, ch 5 to count as the first dc and the first ch 2,

dc in the same sp, (dc, ch 2, dc) in each ch 2 sp around; join with a sl st to

the 3rd ch of the beginning ch 5. (16 ch 2 spaces)

Round 5: Sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 8 (to count as the first trc and the

ch 4 of the first picot), sl st in the 4th ch from hook, trc in the same ch 2

sp, ch 1, (dtrc, picot, dtrc, ch 1) in the same ch 2 sp, (trc, picot, trc, ch 1)

in the same ch 2 sp; (dc, picot, dc, ch 1) in the next ch 2 sp, (hdc, picot,

hdc, ch 1) in the next ch 2 sp, (dc, picot, dc, ch 1) in the next ch 2 sp, *

(trc, picot, trc, ch 1, dtrc, picot, dtrc, ch 1, trc, picot, trc, ch 1) all in the

next ch 2 sp for corner, (dc, picot, dc, ch 1) in the next ch 2 sp, (hdc, picot,

hdc, ch 1) in the next ch 2 sp, (dc, picot, dc, ch 1) in the next ch 2 sp*

Repeat from * to * 2 times; join with a sl st to the 4th ch of the beginning

ch 8. (24 picots)

Round 6: Sl st into the first picot, ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 4 more

dc in the same picot, turn, sc in the top of the beginning ch 3, turn, sc in

the next ch 1 sp; work a bauble in each remaining picot around; do not

join. (24 baubles)

Round 7: Ch 5 to count as the first trc and the first ch 1, sc in the center dc

of the next bauble, ch 1, trc in the next sc between baubles, ch 1, (sc, ch 3,

sc, ch 1) in the center dc of the next bauble, *(trc in the next sc between

baubles, ch 1, sc in the center dc of the next bauble) 5 times, trc in the

next sc between baubles, ch 1, (sc, ch 3, sc, ch 1) in the center dc of the

next bauble* Repeat from * to * 2 times; (trc in the next sc between

baubles, ch 1, sc in the center dc of the next bauble) 4 times; ch 1, join

with a sl st to the 4th ch of the beginning ch 5.

Round 8: Sl st into the first ch 1 sp, ch 1, sc in the same sp, (ch 2, sc in the

next ch 1 sp) 2 times, (ch 2, sc, ch 3, sc) all in the next ch 3 sp; *(ch 2, sc

in the next ch 1 sp) 12 times, (ch 2, sc, ch 3, sc) all in the next ch 3 sp*

Repeat from * to * 2 times; (ch 2, sc in the next ch 1 sp) 12 times; ch 2,

join with a sl st to the first sc. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
