Crochet Cactus Amigurumi

Materials:
<> Crochet hook 4.5 mm
<> Any medium worsted weight yarn – 100% acrylic: pink for the pot, green for the cactus and yellow for the flower.

sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch

Crochet Red Flower Pot Pattern
*Work in continuous rounds. If you are beginner, it is better to place stitch marker in the first st of each round.
Round 1: MR, 6 sc (6 sts)
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12 sts)
Round 3: [2 sc, 1 sc] – repeat till the end, join to beg st (18 sts)
Round 4: ch1, bpsc in each st around (18 sts)
Round 5-7: sc in each stitch around. (18 sts)
Next round work in front loop only
Round 8: [sl st, ch1, sc] – into the first st, [1 sc, 2 sc] – repeat till the end. Sl st to beg st. Cit the yarn and weave in ends.
Weave in ends.
Place safety eyes. For cheeks, simply sew a stitch beneath each eye.
Crochet Green Cactus Pattern
Round 1: MR, 8 sc, join to beg st (8 sts)
Round 2: Ch 2, dc into the same stitch, 2 dc in each stitch around (16 sts). Count ch 2 as 1 dc.
Round 3-6: ch2, fpdc in each stitch around, sl st in top of ch3 (16 sts).
Cut the yarn leaving 15 cm tail. Using yarn needle, draw the tail through front loop of each stitch around the cactus. Stuff cactus with fiber.
Finish stuffing pot and sew together with cactus.
Optionally: add crochet yellow flower.
