1 ball each white, green & 4 yards yellow

(You can use plain cotton yarn (hook F or G) and thread (hook 7)
With Red, ch 2, 8 sc in 2nd st from hook, do no join this or any of the following rounds, mark each row.
Rd 2 2 sc in each sc.
Rd 3 working in sc increase in every other st (24sc)
Rd 4 increase in every 3rd sc.
Rd 5 increase in every 4th sc.
Rd 6 work even.
Rd 7 increase in every 4th sc, (you may need to work a row or two even here)
Next 2 rows increase in every 5th sc.
Next row work even, sl st in next st to even row. (again you may need to work one more row here, so work will lay flat)
Edge: *ch 2, hdc in same sp, skip 1sc, sl st in next sc, repeat from * around, join, fasten off.
Daisy: with yellow thread and 7 hook, ch 2, 8sc in 2nd st from hook, join, fasten off. Attach white in any sc, *ch 6, sc in 2nd st from hook, 1hdc in next st of ch, 1 dc in each of the next 3sts of ch, sl st in next sc, repeat from * 7 x, fasten off. Work 11 more daisies.

Leaf: with green, * ch 13, sc in 2nd st from hook, 1 hdc in next st of ch, 1 dc in each of the next 8 sts of ch, 1 hdc in next st, 1 sc in next st, repeat from * twice, fasten off.

Work 2 more groups of leaves. With potholder laying flat on table, place 3 daisies at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, with a leaf grouping between the daisies.
