Small amount size 10 crochet cotton. Aunt Lydias in ecru was used in the example.
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry needle

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge 10 sc= 1"
Finished SizeFits any 12 oz beverage can. 4.5"x4.5"at widest end.

Instructions
RND 1:Ch6, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch4. Work 29 tr in ring. Join wslst to top of ch4.

RND 2:Ch4. Work 3tr in same st as slst. Ch1. *Sk next 2 sts. 4tr in next st. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch4. You should now have 10 sets of 4tr.

RND 3:Ch4. Tr in each of the next 3 tr. Ch3. *Tr in each of the next 4 tr. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch4.

RND 4:Rep rnd 3.

RND 5:Ch4. Tr in next tr. Ch3. Tr in each of the next 2 tr. Sk next ch3 sp. *Tr in next 2 tr. Ch3. Tr in next 2 tr. Sk next ch3 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch4.

RND 6:Ch4. Tr in next tr. Sk next ch3 sp. *Tr in each of the next 2 tr. Ch3. Tr in each of the next 2 tr. Sk next ch3 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch4.

RND 7:Rep rnd 5.
RND 8:Rep rnd 6.
RND 9: Rep rnd 5.
RND 10:Rep rnd 6.
RND 11:Rep rnd 5.

RND 12:Ch1. Work the foll in the next ch3 sp. 3dc, ch2, 3dc. Sk next tr. Sc in next tr. *Sc in next tr. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch3 sp. Sk next tr. Sc in next tr. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off and weave all ends into back of work. Slip over bottom of can!
