Supplies Needed

  • Mini Tulip Bushes
  • Foam Wreath Form (15 inches)
  • Floral Wire
  • Scissors

I bought two bunches of each color for a total of 16 bunches of tulips.

I found the tulips at Michaels. They are the smaller sized tulip bunches, not the full sized tulips. Here’s what they look like in-store.

If you use a smaller wreath form, you could probably get away with just one bunch of each color. That would lessen the cost, but give you a smaller wreath in the end, so it’s just a matter of personal preference.

Make sure you scroll down to watch the video tutorial for this project.

Step 1: Lay one bunch of tulips on top of the wreath form. Secure it in place by wrapping floral wire around the stem and the form.

Step 2: Once the first bunch of flowers is secure, add a second bunch staggered slightly down from the first bunch and wrap the floral wire around it. Be sure to get the ends of the stems under floral wire to keep them pushed down.

Step 3: Repeat all the way around the wreath. When you get to the last bunch of flowers, tuck the stems under the first bunch of flowers and secure with wire to complete the circle of tulips. Tie off the wire and snip the ends.

You’ll end up with a gorgeous rainbow of tulips!
